Snapchat is making some big changes to Stories (again)

Snapchat is changing up its Stories page once again.

The app is reversing two previous changes it made: Stories will no longer auto-advance and Discover content will appear farther down in the Stories page.

The change is starting to roll out now on Android and will begin to show up for everyone else soon.

The update is a rare reversal from the company, whose updates — even minor ones — tend to trigger a passionate response from the app's users. Snapchat first added Discover previews to Stories when it redesigned publisher pages in June and it introduced auto-playing Stories in its chat update in March.  Read more...
