Samsung is stopping sales and exchanges of all Note7 handsets

Samsung has asked carriers and retailers to stop selling and exchanging Galaxy Note7 devices until further notice.

"Samsung will ask all carrier and retail partners globally to stop sales and exchanges of the Galaxy Note7 while the investigation is taking place," the company wrote in a statement published on its website Monday.

Citing safety concerns, the company is also advising anyone who has any Note7 handset — including a replacement — to stop using it. "Consumers with either an original Galaxy Note7 or replacement Galaxy Note7 device should power down and stop using the device and take advantage of the remedies available." Read more...
