Facebook gives WhatsApp the Snapchat treatment, too

WhatsApp will soon look more like Snapchat.

The messaging app introduced a set of new camera features Monday that allow you to add Snapchat-like doodles, emoji and text to your photos and videos.

The update is starting to roll out to the app's Android users now and will be available to iPhone users "soon," according to the company. 

With the change, you'll be able to add doodles, text, emoji and captions to photos and videos you shoot and share them within the app. You can also change the color and font of the captions you add to your images. Read more...
