Nest lets users swipe through days of footage with new Sightline app

Nest, who recently announced it would be selling an outdoor cam, is giving homeowners on-demand video at their fingertips with a new brand-new app. 

Sightline, released as part of today's software update, allows users to zoom through several days of video in a matter of seconds. In addition, a new "person alert" has also been added for Nest Aware subscribers in which the software is able to differentiate a person snooping on your property from, say, a swaying tree or the neighbor's cat. 

Swiping through the video allows a user to zoom through hours of video, even days, in just a few seconds, and shows the user snapshots of key moments so you don't necessarily have to dig through hours of footage for a 30-second clip.  Read more...
