Jet Black iPhone 7 fine print: No 32GB version, prone to scratches

The new, Jet Black iPhone 7 is beautiful, and at its event Wednesday, Apple took special care to explain the painstaking engineering process through which the new color was achieved. 

But unlike all other models, this particular iPhone 7 model comes with two caveats. First, it's only available in 128GB and 256GB varieties — there's no 32GB version. This is true regardless of the carrier, and both for the iPhone 7 and the 7 Plus. 

We're not sure whether this is a temporary measure to keep the demand down (perhaps this particular color takes longer to produce, and Apple is worried it won't be able to manufacture this model fast enough) or a permanent pricing structure.
