Google Glass Gets Shazam, Livestream, and a World Cup App

On the eve of its annual developer's conference, Google is launching 11 more official apps for its connected headset, Google Glass. Shazam, Livestream, a World Cup app and more are coming to the device as Glassware.

The new apps include Duolingo, Runtastic, 94Fifty Basketball, The Guardian, GuidiGO, Zombies, Run!, Star Chart, Shazam, Goal.com, Livestream and musiXmatch. An existing social cooking app, Allthecooks, is also getting a major update.

The announcement follows the release of a suite of travel apps for Glass that debuted in May. Google said the number of Glassware apps has increased 80% over the past six months. Read more...
